President and Acting Rector of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed has said “Marka-e-Haq” will be remembered as Pride of Pakistan. Addressing a ceremony on the eve of the 1st anniversary of Pakistan’s epic victory in Marka-e-Haq, scholars, intellectuals and representatives of youth paid rich tributes to the Pakistan Armed Forces, particularly Field Marshal General Asim Munir, all defence institutions, and especially the Pakistan Air Force for their unwavering role in safeguarding national sovereignty. In his address, Dr Ahmed Saad Alahmed underlined that Pakistan’s bonds with brotherly nations are rooted in shared faith, mutual trust, and fraternity, reflecting a collective commitment to Muslim unity, peace, and progress. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed also led special prayers for success and dignity of Field Marshal General Asim Munir during Friday prayers at Faisal Masjid. Field Marshal General Asim Munir is an academician of international stature and he has served his country the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of research on child abuse.
