Addressing the event, the Chinese president said the Communist Party of China must adapt to emerging challenges while maintaining unity and coordination. Xi said China is currently experiencing a period where opportunities and risks exist at the same time. He emphasized that unity is essential to dealing with both domestic and international challenges. Xi called on party members to further strengthen discipline and remove elements that could harm the party’s development and integrity. He said the Communist Party would continue working to promote national stability and development while enhancing China’s role and influence on the global stage.
