STOCKHOLM – Pakistan Embassy in Stockholm on Saturday organized a commemorative event to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, attended by members of the Pakistani diaspora including students, journalists, entrepreneurs and community representatives. Head of Mission Warda Bibi, Head of Commercial Council Ahsan Riaz Chaudhary, Malik Shehzad Swedish Chapter Vice President Kashmir Council, Chairman Kashmir Council Chaudhry Zafar and President Kashmir Council Sardar Taimur Aziz also graced the occasion. A message from the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister was read out on the occasion, highlighting national unity and the firm resolve demonstrated during Marka-e-Haq in the face of a stronger adversary. A documentary chronicling the developments leading to Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and Marka-e-Haq was also screened. The presentation received strong appreciation from the audience, followed by resounding applause. Speakers at the event paid rich tribute to the martyrs and Ghazis of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, acknowledging their sacrifices and courage.
