Owner of Parizaad’s famous luxury house arrested over Rs17 billion corruption

PESHAWAR – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has taken Qaiser Iqbal Jadoon, who is owner of a luxury house which was used in popular TV show Parizaad, over massive corruption. A journalist revealed that Jadoon, who is a head clerk in the Communication and Works (C&W) Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been named in Kohistan Scandal involving Rs40 billion. He added that the government official looted Rs17 billion and he has now surrendered his assets to NAB on 21 May 2026, filing a plea bargain petition. The surrendered assets include the Parizaad drama’s luxury house worth Rs700 million. It covers an area of 10 acres and located in Gulberg Green area of Islamabad. The journalist revealed that per month rent of the house was Rs2.4 million. Jadoon has also surrendered Rs560 million in his bank accounts, one kilogramme gold, 50,000 Dirhams, 21,000 Riyals, 8,000 US Dollars, 9,300 pounds, four vehicles. NAB has yet to accept his plea bargain request as three other suspects have availed it. Over 40 people have been arrested in the Kohistan scandal case.
