Child Dies, Four Injured in Building Roof Collapse in Lahore

A 10-year-old boy was killed, and four others were injured after the roof of an under-construction building collapsed in the Baghbanpura area of Lahore. According to a spokesperson for Rescue 1122 Punjab, the child who died was identified as Abdullah, while four injured people were provided first aid before being shifted to Services Hospital for further treatment. Rescue 1122 spokesperson said that the emergency control room received a call shortly after 12 noon reporting the roof collapse incident in the Baghbanpura area. According to him, “The caller informed Rescue 1122 that the roof of the third floor of an under-construction building near Women College Road in Baghbanpura, Lahore, had collapsed.
