Lahore, Punjab Weather Update: More rain, gusty winds expected

More rains and gusty winds are expected in Lahore and parts of Punjab on Sunday night and Monday, with occasional breaks. Heavy falls and hailstorms are also expected at isolated places during the forecast period. Synoptic Situation According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly weather system is currently influencing the upper and central parts of the country, while moisture from the Arabian Sea is entering central and southern regions. A seasonal low-pressure area remains active over western Balochistan and adjoining areas. PMD Forecast Under these weather conditions, more rains and gusty winds with isolated heavy falls and hailstorms are expected in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, Noorpur Thal, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Layyah, Mianwali, Kasur, Okara, Jhang, Faisalabad, Khanewal, Multan, Vehari and Bahawalnagar. Expected Temperatures Daytime temperatures in Lahore are expected to remain between 40°C and 42°C on Monday, rising slightly to 41°C to 43°C on Tuesday.
