Privacy Policy
Scoop respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Data we collect
- Anonymous analytics. Aggregated pageviews, article views, category preferences, and session data. IP addresses are not stored in personally identifiable form.
- Newsletter email. If you subscribe to the Scoop digest, we store your email address and topic preferences. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
- Push notification token. If you opt in to breaking-news push notifications, we store a device token to deliver pushes. You can revoke this at any time in your browser or device settings.
How we use it
- Improve content ranking — anonymous analytics inform which sources and categories are prioritized.
- Send digest emails — newsletter subscribers receive a curated daily or weekly digest.
- Send breaking news pushes — opted-in users receive push notifications for major breaking stories.
