KARACHI – The Sindh Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department has allowed buyers to complete the transfer of vehicle ownership without the biometric verification of sellers. It announced that vehicle owners can complete the process without the seller’s NADRA biometric verification until June 30, 2026. The department has issued a notification in this regard following directives from Sindh Excise Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla. The announcement aims to provide relief to citizens and streamline the vehicle ownership transfer process. After the relaxation expires, new system will be implemented. Under the new system, both the buyer and seller are required to undergo biometric verification at NADRA or e-Sahulat centers before the official transfer process can begin.
